CITPO Technologies was founded in 2013 by Dr. HO YAN-DE in Hsinchu, and is a leading manufacturer of fiber grating sensors (FBG sensor) technology. During his master's degree in civil engineering at National Chiao Tung University, Dr. HO was a professor of FBG sensor, one of the pioneers of FBG sensor. He was a professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Huang An-bin, and then followed Professor Huang to study for Ph.D. and postdoctoral research. During this period, he helped establish the FBG fiber grating sense.

奇博科技股份有限公司於2013年由何彥德博士創立於新竹，是光纖光柵感測器(FBG sensor)技術的領導廠商。何博士於國立交通大學土木系攻讀碩士期間即師從FBG sensor的技術先驅之一交大土木系黃安斌特聘教授，之後又跟著黃教授攻讀博士學位及>博士後的研究，這期間協助建立FBG光纖光柵感測器實驗室，持續鑽研FBG光纖光柵感測技術、產品的開發與應用領域的開拓，該實驗室逐步成為FBG光纖光柵感測技術發展的重鎮，黃教授也成為這個領域的佼佼者。

此光纖光柵壓力計使用光纖光柵量測壓力之變化，此壓力與光纖光柵波長改變量為一線性關係。壓力計配有一光纖光柵溫度計，可用以修正外在溫度對於光纖光柵壓力感測之影響，並可同時量測外在溫度之改變。光纖光柵壓力計可用來量測氣體或液體之壓力。
